About the Author :
After living in the UK, JoMac grew used to shows and movies that were backdropped by realism. Raised in a civilian Dept. of Defense family, she has spent most of her life among the military, both US and British. She has a BA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in anthropology, and an MA from the University of Newcastle (UK) in archaeology. She enjoys writing anything sci-fi and fantasy, and frequently binge-watches streaming channels. While living in the UK, she began working on a screenplay of a modern British 'War of the Worlds, ' using the same places as the novel. After returning to the States due to her mother having cancer, she lost too much of her British to now write it. Currently, she lives on the west coast of Florida with a patron-of-the-arts roommate - one of her greatest supporters - and a rescue cat she named Molly after the trawler in her apolcaypse series. But she wants to move on. Either back to the UK and live in a quiet village or to south Louisiana and live by a bayou where the wildlife is louder than the people.
