After writing for the La Jolla Light and the Oregon Daily Emerald, he took a detour to Switzerland where he skied, butchered the French language, and taught tennis lessons for over a year. Once back in the states, Yorkey took several reporting jobs that eventually led to writing projects of all kinds and has since collaborated on more than 75 books.

John Fuller is vice president of Focus on the Family's Audio and New Media division. He is the cohost of the Daily Broadcast with Focus President Jim Daly and hosts the radio features Weekend Magazine and Focus on the Family Minute, as well as the podcasts Focus on Marriage and Focus on Parenting. Fuller's broadcasting career began in 1980 at a college radio station in Wisconsin. In subsequent years, he was involved in the start-up of two Christian stations in Tyler, Texas. Fuller has an MA in human communications from the University of Northern Colorado and a BA in journalism from the University of Texas at Tyler; he also studied at Dallas Theological Seminary. Married since 1984, Fuller and his wife, Dena, have six children. They enjoy a variety of family activities such as camping, visits to local playgrounds, and volunteering at their church.
