About the Book

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.

Wherefore do I weep? Because the nations stagger like a drunkard toward midnight and know not that the morning is already decreed. Because men debate whether history hath a direction, while the Architect of history hath already published the destination. Because ten thousand pulpits speak of heaven as an escape and are silent concerning the throne that shall be set upon this earth. Hear me, O reader: the earth is not a sinking ship to be abandoned; the earth is a stolen estate to be repossessed. The meek shall inherit it. The King shall govern it. And the length of the first published lease of that government is written in the Book with a plainness that shameth all our confusion: a thousand years.

Six times in seven verses the Spirit saith it - chilia etē, a thousand years - as a notary stamps a deed six times lest any court dispute it. Revelation the twentieth chapter is not poetry gasping for meaning; it is a schedule. Satan bound a thousand years. The saints reigning a thousand years. The first resurrection crowning a thousand years. What God repeateth, God meaneth. What God numbereth, God performeth.

The Double Double

And what do I mean by the Double Protocol of the thousand years? I mean this, and I shall prove it line upon line: that the Millennium is the earth-wide enactment of the law of divine restitution, whereby the Lord repayeth double for all that the thief hath taken. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Steal - kill - destroy: that is the serpent's triple audit of six thousand years. Life - and life more abundantly: that is the King's double answer. For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee.

Zechariah 9:12

Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee.

And the timetable of the double is likewise written. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Two days - two thousand years - hath the Son of David been rejected of the builders; the third day - the third millennium from His cross - is the day of raising up, the day of reigning, the day of rain upon mown grass. The two days are the down payment of exile; the third day is the double rendered. This is the arithmetic of heaven, and I did not invent it; I found it, as a man findeth treasure hid in a field, and I sold my silence to buy that field.

Job received double of all that he had lost, and his latter end was blessed more than his beginning. What the Lord did for one patriarch in the land of Uz, He shall do for one planet in the day of His power. The Millennium is Job's chapter forty-two written across every continent. It is the double portion of the firstborn Son distributed to a redeemed creation. It is the year of jubilee stretched into ten centuries. This book is the title deed read aloud.

Therefore, O reader, dry thine eyes with me but for a season, and come. I will show thee the Branch and the throne, the binding of the dragon and the loosing of the desert, the wolf pastured with the lamb and the nations streaming up to Zion with their swords already melted into ploughshares. I will show thee the government whose increase hath no end. And when thou hast seen it, thou shalt weep no more as they that have no hope; thou shalt weep as Joseph wept - because the famine is ending and the brethren are come home.
