About the Book

This book discusses initiatives intended to promote strategic flexibility, resilience, sustainability, and information system flexibility and analytics, through AI, HR analytics, employee attrition using perspectives from machine learning, agile competencies, agile organization, digital recruitment, e-governance, cyber security controls, and cyber security risk management. It explores areas such as banking system, medical tourism, pharmaceutical industry, defense sector, online shopping, to name some. About the Author :

Sushil is Emeritus Professor, Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. He has served as Deputy Director (Operations) and Dean (Faculty) at IIT Delhi. He has served as Visiting Professor and delivered seminars in many leading universities, such as Montpellier Business School, France, Kyoto University, Tokyo, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris, among others. He is an active researcher and has supervised more than 70 doctoral dissertations. He has 20 books to his credit in the areas of flexibility, strategy, systems thinking, and technology management. He has over 300 papers in various refereed journals and conferences. He has pioneered the area of "flexible systems management" and made original contributions to the field of knowledge in the form of interpretive approaches in management. He is founder Editor-in-Chief of the journal Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management and of the series 'Flexible Systems Management'; and serves on the editorial boards of leading international journals. He is the Founder President of the professional body, "Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management." He has acted as consultant to both governmental and industrial organizations. He has served as an independent director on the boards of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL, a public sector enterprise under Ministry of Steel, Government of India) and Hospital Services Consultancy Corporation Limited (HSCC, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare).

Neelam Rani is Associate Professor of finance and control at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong. She is a Fulbright Fellow and has served as Visiting Professor and delivered seminars at many leading universities. She has over 100 papers in various refereed journals and conferences, and has co-authored a book on mergers and acquisitions, published by Springer. She is an Associate Editor of the Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management. She has done consultancy and research projects for both governmental and industrial organizations, and is a sought-after trainer for Management Development Programs, having conducted programs for governmental and industrial organizations. Her areas of research interest include mergers and acquisitions, cross-border acquisitions, corporate governance, financial markets, and corporate finance.

Rohit Joshi is Professor in Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques area at IIM Shillong. He is a Fulbright Fellow, and did his postdoctoral research work at UCLA, University of California, Los Angeles, USA. He obtained his PhD from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has publications in many reputed international journals. His areas of interest in consulting and teaching assignments include supplychain management, operations management, six sigma and lean thinking, business statistics, project management, value-engineering, design thinking and creative problem solving.
