About the Author :
Anirban Bandyopadhyay ist leitender Wissenschaftler am National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Tsukuba, Japan. Er promovierte 2005 in Supramolekularer Elektronik an der Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) in Kolkata, Indien. Von 2005 bis 2008 war er ICYS-Forschungsstipendiat am ICYS, NIMS, Japan, wo er an einem bio-ähnlichen Prozessor arbeitete. 2008 trat er als ständiger Wissenschaftler in NIMS ein, wo er am Zeitkristallmodell des menschlichen Gehirns und am Design-Synthese von gehirnähnlichem organischen Gel arbeitete. Im Jahr 2020 veröffentlichte er das Buch "Nanobrain: The making of an artificial brain from a time crystal". Von 2013 bis 2014 war er Gastwissenschaftler am Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in den USA. Er erhielt den Hitachi Science and Technology Award 2010, den Inamori Foundation Award 2011-2012, den Kurata Foundation Award, war Inamori Foundation Fellow (2011) und ist Mitglied der Sewa Society International in Japan.
