About the Book

This book contains chapters of the proceedings presented at the UiTM International Conference of Mathematical Sciences 2024 (UICMS 2024), organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, from October 12-13, 2024. This book discusses research on a variety of topics, including numerical analysis, fractional order differential equations, mathematical biology, data envelopment analysis, and machine learning. These areas cover the fundamental aspects of mathematical modeling, differential equations, and the uncertainties in dynamic systems, necessitating the use of numerical approaches to solve complex mathematical problems and their applications. In the realm of numerical analysis, this book explores differential equations from multiple perspectives, with a primary focus on their numerical solutions. It addresses contemporary challenges in the era of intelligence and analytics by examining various issues, presenting novel findings, and promoting sustainable developments in numerical methods. This book is designed for graduate students, researchers, and scientists in the fields of mathematics, engineering, physics, economics, and biology. It is particularly valuable for those engaged in interdisciplinary areas that employ mathematical modeling, differential equations, and numerical analysis to tackle their research problems.
