About the Author :
- NG, Kwan-Keung Steven (Ming-Ai (London) Institute) Steven Ng earned a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of South Australia. At present, he holds the role of Vice President at the Elite Institute of Advanced and Professional Education, and concurrently serves as Visiting Professor at the Ming-Ai (London) Institute. Moreover, he has been appointed as Honorary Professor at Chung Hua University. Steven is a Member of the executive committee for the Hong Kong Association for Educational Communications and Technology (HKAECT), and is Lead Editor of the publication 'Transcending Boundaries in the Digital Age' (2024). His extensive research interests encompass diverse areas such as marketing, international business, consumer behavior, service quality, teaching and learning, e-learning, hybrid learning, and vocational and professional education and training (VPET). - BAI, Shurui Tiffany (The Education University of Hong Kong) Tiffany Bai is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology, The Education University of Hong Kong. Her main research field is technology-enhanced learning, such as gamification and the flipped classroom. She has also published in many journals including Computer & Education and Educational Research Review. One of her gamified class designs was awarded second place in the International Contest on Blended Teaching & Learning in 2021 (ICBTL2021). - LO, Po Kan Noble (College of Professional and Continuing Education, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University) Noble Lo completed his postgraduate degrees at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and the University of Oxford. He also obtained his Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Harvard Certificate in Advanced Education Leadership. He served as Member of the Senate at the Open University of Hong Kong (now known as Hong Kong Metropolitan University). Noble is Ambassador of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Chartered Linguist of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, and Member of the British Educational Research Association, and the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain. He currently teaches at the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). - TSO, Wing Bo Anna (The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong) Anna Tso is Department Head and Associate Professor of English at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She also holds the position of Associate Editor of the Digital Culture and Humanities book series (Springer, 2017-present), serves as President of the Hong Kong Association for Educational Communications and Technology (2022-present), and contributes monthly as Columnist for The Hong Kong Economic Journal. Her research interests lie in the intersection of applied linguistics, children's literature, and digital literacy. - CHAN, Wing-Lam Wendy (HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College) Wendy Chan has been in the tertiary sector since 2014. Prior to joining HKU (The University of Hong Kong) SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, she has worked for the Hong Kong Chu Hai College and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She has also worked in various news organizations, such as Radio Television Hong Kong, Travel QnA, and Island East Markets. Her research interests are in media writing, journalistic presentations, and public relations. Her publications can be seen in journals indexed in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI), and Taiwan Humanities Citation Index (THCI), and in other renowned journals, such as Journalism Practice, Visual Studies, Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology, and International Communication Research Journal. Apart from being an author of journal articles, she is also a frequent column contributor to The Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ).
