About the Book

This book presents selected research papers on current developments in the fields of soft computing and signal processing from the Seventh International Conference on Soft Computing and Signal Processing (ICSCSP 2024), organized by Malla Reddy College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad, India. The book covers topics such as soft sets, rough sets, fuzzy logic, neural networks, genetic algorithms, and machine learning and discusses various aspects of these topics, e.g., technological considerations, product implementation, and application issues.

About the Author :
Dr. Vustikayala Sivakumar Reddy achieved his doctoral degree from IIT, Kharagpur, India (Electronics & Communication Engineering). He has pursued his master’s in digital systems from JNT University, Hyderabad, India. He has pursued his bachelor of technology degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from S.V. University, Tirupathi, India. His research interests lie in the areas of computer networks and communications, video processing, multimedia system design, operating systems, TCP/IP networks and protocols, system architecture, and advanced microprocessors. He has over 23 years of experience at various levels of academic and administrative positions. He served as Principal and Professor in Malla Reddy College of Engineering and Technology, Maisammaguda, Dhulapally, Secunderabad, from 2009 to 2020. He served as Professor in Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Yamnampet, Ghatkesar, Hyderabad, from 1999 to 2009. He is Reviewer for the Journals “IEEE Communication Letters” and “IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting”. He is Fellow Member of IETE, IEEE, ISTE, CSI. Dr. Jiacun Wang received the Ph.D. in computer engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China, in 1991. He joined Monmouth University in 2004 and is currently Full Professor of software engineering. He served as Computer Science and Software Engineering Department Chair during 2009–2015. He has been Graduate Program Director of the department since 2016. His research interests include machine learning, formal methods, discrete event systems, workflow, and real-time distributed systems. He published four books and more than 200 papers. His book “Real-time Embedded Systems” has been translated to Chinese and published by China Machinery Industry Press. He is currently Associated Editor of IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica, IEEE SMC Magazine, and International Journal of Network Dynamics and Intelligence. He has served as General Chair or Program Chair in several international Conferences. He is Associate Vice President of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. Dr. KTV Reddy was awarded doctoral degree in communication (microwaves/microstrip antennas), June 2004, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay. He has pursued his master’s in communication engineering: January 1999, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay. He has pursued his bachelor of engineering degree in July 1991, NBKRIST, SV University. Prof. (Dr.) KTV Reddy is presently working as Dean—Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University) (DMIHER (DU)), Sawangi, Wardha, Maharashtra. He was Former Director at PSIT Kanpur. He is Avid Academician, and Prof. Reddy has addressed and contributed to numerous national and international seminars and conferences. He published over 100 papers in the national and international journals and conferences. He delivered over 200 invited talks and organized over 150 conferences/workshop.   Dr. Prasad Chetti was awarded doctorate in information technology by University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2023. He has pursued his master’s in computer science and engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), 2014. He has also pursued his masters in geo-informatics and surveying technology, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), 2009. He has pursued his bachelor of engineering degree in computer science and engineering at P.R.R.M. Engineering College (Affiliated to JNTUH). His areas of interest include data science, graph clustering algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational biology, and population analysis. He has over 20 publications in various reputed international/national journals and conferences. He was invited as Panelist on ChatGPT at the MINKWIC 2023 conference. He has successfully conducted a data science workshop at the MINKWIC 2023 conference on “Analyzing the structural health of U.S. bridges using Correlation Networks”. He is presently working as Assistant Professor at School of CSIS, Northwest Missouri State University from Spring 2022.
