Krishna M is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India. He obtained his PhD from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, India. He has spent the last eight years teaching economics and carrying out research in the field of economics. His research revolves around several areas of economics including labour economics, energy economics, the economics of social networks, economic growth and development, and public policy.
Rahul Arora is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India. He completed his PhD in Economics from the Department of Economic Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India in 2017, specializing in evaluating the impact of mega-trade deals in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Byomakesh Debata is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and a Master's in Computational Finance from the Institute of Mathematics and Applications. He has published in various journals of international repute with good citations. His research interests are Financial Economics, Computational Finance, Behavioural Finance, Application of Stochastic Process in Finance, and Market Microstructure.
Debi Prasad Bal is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India. He has obtained PhD degree in Economics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad. He has more than Seven years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience. His prime concern and aim for the future teaching would emphasize for providing high quality research-based teaching at undergraduate and post graduate level.
NVM Rao is Senior Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India; and has been teaching economics, management, and technology oriented courses. He joined BITS Pilani in 1994. His research interests include applied econometrics, risk assessment, economic development, financial economics, quantitative modeling and statistical decision making, educational planning and resource allocation, predictive analytics.
Saumya Ranjan Dash is Professor (Finance and Accounting) and Dean (Research) at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, Indore, India. He obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. Prior to joining IIM Indore, he worked as Assistant Professor with IMT-Ghaziabad for two years. His research interests include behavioural finance, equity research and portfolio management, financial market, socially responsible investment management, and corporate capital structure. His teaching interests include financial accounting and reporting, cost and management accounting, empirical asset pricing, behavioural finance.
Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan is experienced researcher/data scientist, applied economist, policy/business consultant, and inter-disciplinary scientist with extensive experience publishing papers, producing and managing global economic datasets and models widely used by academic/policy/industry researchers and analysts worldwide. Internationally published in trade, energy, environment, disruptive technologies, agriculture, labor, health and manufacturing, cutting across disciplines, with numerous citations in journals like Nature and American Economic Review.
