About the Author :
Santoshi Halder, Ph.D., is a Professor at the Department of Education, University of Calcutta, India. She is a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BACB, USA) and has a Special Educator license (Rehabilitation Council of India, RCI). She is awarded the prestigious 'Extraordinary Professorship' by the University of Pretoria, South Africa (2023) and the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R), USA (2024). She has been the recipient of prestigious International awards; Short-visit, Ludwigsburg University of Education, Germany (2024), Hungarian ICM Erasmus, (2022-2025), Hungarian State bilateral Awardee (2022-23), Shastri-Indo-Canadian Fellow (2020-22), Fulbright Academic and Professional Excellence fellow, USA (2020), Rockefeller Fellow, Italy (2019), Japan Society for Promotion of Science/ JSPS Fellow, (2019), Endeavour Australia-India Education Research Fellow and Honorary Fellow at Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC), La Trobe University, Australia (2015-2016), Endeavour Awards Ambassador (2018) and Fulbright Nehru Senior Research Fellow, USA (2011-2012). She received the Governor's Medal (West Bengal, India) in 2001 for her contribution to the community as a National Cadet (NCC). 13 Ph.D. & 18 M.Phil dissertations have been completed/awarded under her supervision. She has edited & authored eight international books on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Technology (Springer, Palgrave Macmillan, and Routledge). She is Associate Editor for the Journal of Disability and Impairment, International Fulbright Chronicle, Indonesian Journal of Disability Studies, and Asian Journal of Inclusive Education. Hui-Ting Tina Wang (王慧婷) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education, National Taiwan Normal University. She is a Licensed Secondary Education Special Educator in Taiwan and a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst at the Doctoral Level. Hui-Ting serves as the International Member at-large for the Division on Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities of the Council for Exceptional Children, United States. Hui-Ting's research interests include evidence-based practices (EBPs) and technology-enhanced EBPs for teaching individuals with autism, with a focus on the multi-tiered ecological considerations of teachers, parents, and peers. Her recent innovative national project, leveraging artificial intelligence, reflects her dedication to driving meaningful change by addressing the massive need for decision-making support in emotional and behavioral management and communication skills. As a scholar, she strives to maintain a balanced commitment to teaching, research, student advising, and global community service. Her dedication has been recognized through two Teaching Excellence Awards, the 2030 Young Scholar Research Excellence Award, the Taiwan Education Academic Joint Association Special Education Service Award, and the Outstanding Industrial Cooperation Award. Karola Dillenburger is Professor of Behaviour Analysis and Education and the Founding Director of the Centre for Behaviour Analysis at Queen's University Belfast. She is a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D), a certified behaviour analyst with the UK-Society for Behaviour Analysis (UKBAcert. PSA accredited), and a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. Professor Dillenburger is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AdvanceHE), and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and has been an adjunct Professor at multiple universities across Europe and Australia. She is an International Guest Faculty at the Asia Pacific ABA Network Institute in Japan and an international advisor for Behaviour Momentum in India. Her research focuses on developing compassionate behaviour analytic interventions to support vulnerable children and adults, explicating parenting across the lifespan, and elucidating trauma, bereavement, and stress. She has successfully supervised many PhD students in the area of behaviour analysis. She is published widely in high-impact international journals and has delivered invited keynote addresses and lectures in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia. In 2024, she was awarded the Gold Medal from Masaryk University, the Czech Republic, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to science, culture, higher education, and public life, including her commitment to the struggle for human rights and dignity. In 2024, she was elected as the President of the European Association for Behaviour Analysis. In 2025, she was appointed Fellow of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).
