About the Author :

Theodore E. Simos is the president of the European Society of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering (ESCMSE). He is an active member of both the European Academy of Sciences and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. He currently serves at the Centre for Applied Mathematics and Bioinformatics, Gulf University for Science and Technology, West Mishref, Kuwait. He is also visiting professor at the Section of Mathematics, Department of Civil Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece. He is editor-in-chief of five academic journals: Applied Mathematics and Computation (Elsevier), Journal of Computational Mathematics and Data Science (Elsevier), Journal of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering (ESCMSE), Journal of Numerical Analysis, Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ESCMSE). He is on the board of many other journals. He supervised eight PhD students all of whom are finished and now are faculty members in universities all over the world. His research interests include numerical analysis, applied mathematics, and computational methods, and he has made significant contributions to these fields through both scholarly publications and international collaborations.
Christos Tsitouras is a faculty member of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, General Department, located at the Euripus Campus, GR 34400, Greece. He is a specialist in numerical methods and their applications to scientific and engineering problems. He is editor in the Applied Mathematics and Computation journal (Elsevier). As co-editor of this volume, he contributes his expertise and longstanding involvement with the ICNAAM conference series, supporting the rigorous academic standards of the publication.
