About the Author :
Shaykh al-Islam Professor Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is a distinctive Islamic scholar of international repute. He has delivered over 6000 lectures on almost all major contemporary issues in various national and international conferences, seminars, gatherings and specially organized programs by universities and colleges in all the continents of the World. He has singular distinction of presenting the basic idea of interest free Islamic banking in the presence of a huge gathering at Lahore on October 7, 1992 in response to challenge that contemporary finance and economy cannot run with out interest. As such, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri emerges as a person of destiny with his learned instruction and creative interpretation of Islam providing refreshing perspectives of the role of Islam in the contemporary World. Unfortunately, in the past several decades, the universality of Islam has been obscured by stereotyped conservatism. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri with his progressive ideas and better contemporary World vision is performing an important role in the renaissance of Islam. Without doubt, he is a refreshing tide in humanity. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has his spiritual affiliation (Bait) with Qudwat-ul-Awliya ash-Shaykh as-Sayyad Tahir `Ala-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Baghdadi al-Gilani [d.1991] of Baghdad, the present head of the Qadriyya chain. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is the founding leader and the spirit of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Qur'an International Islamic Organisation (working in more than 80 countries). Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a pure humanitarian personality. He is known as a Professor, Thinker, Reformer, and Statesman. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was born on 19th February, 1951 at Jhang Sadar (Pakistan). His father, Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri was a very competent Medical practitioner, a top-notch religious scholar, a versatile poet and an exceptionally eloquent speaker. He was a spiritual leader and a great saint of his time.

Review :
"I am really impressed by the efforts of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri which he is making towards the resurgence of Islam. I have not seen any organization better organized than Minhaj-ul-Quran before." AHMAD DEEDAT "I heard a lot about the achievements of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, but today I have seen everything in-front of my own eyes and I have realised that in comparison to what I heard in reality it was much more." SHAYKH ALVI AL-MALIKI AL-MAKKI "May Allah reward Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and Prof Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for this great work. Today I visited the headquarters of Minhaj-ul-Quran, and was impressed by its offices and various branches. It is a matter of great satisfaction that Minhaj-ul-Quran is struggling to maintain the spirit of traditional learning with the adab (right conduct) of knowledge, and Dr Qadri is transmitting traditions with isnad (chain of narrators) to the seekers of knowledge." SHAYKH MUHAMMAD AL-YAQOUBI AL-HASSANI
