Review :
A collection of 25 years worth of memories from the runway, Dries Van Noten reflects the vast work of the ready-to-wear maestro in two volumes, both replete with thousands of images and an encyclopedia's worth of reviews written by Tim Blanks and Susannah Frankel -- his mastery in prints, colors, and textiles come to life across 800 pages.--Refinery29 Dries Van Noten celebrates 100 shows in this two-volume-coffee-table book, looking back on the start of his collections from 1991 and runway shows, with some 2,000 images to share his dreamy world with us all.--TANK Dries Van Noten, celebrating his 100th career career with a two-volume book, is one of the rare designers who feed on the story of fashion and prefer to preserve this tradition.--Vogue Turkey Dries Van Noten's creativity is captured here in glorious, glossy technicolor and these books, like his designs, are not about throwaway fashion or red carpet one-nighters. They reflect a color-soaked, precise, yet easy elegance which surely sets the scene for his next 100 shows to come.--Mr. H In Dries Van Noten 1-100, beautiful images tell the 30-year career of the Belgian stylist.--Vogue Brasil Now, the designer's career is appropriately being documented in the most regal and posh way. The brand and Lannoo Publishers of Belgium are publishing two retrospective coffee-table books on 100 of his fashion shows and collections, featuring over 2000 unique pictures capturing the shows, in both womenswear and menswear, as well as detailed info about every show since 1991.--Paper Magazine The books take readers on a design journey to where inspiration, reference and innovation are translated onto garments.--Forbes The result is a revealing portrait of a designer whose collections are charged with intelligence, culture, emotion and, it almost goes without saying, extremely good taste, all of which has earned him an extremely loyal client base and ever increasing critical acclaim.--AnOther Magazine The Belgian designer launches his book Dries Van Noten 1-100 with more than 2,000 images of footbridges since 1991.--Vogue Mexico The Belgian designer, considered by the New York Times as the most cerebral of all time, commemorates his centenary collection with two volumes telling of an extraordinary career.--Vanity Fair Italia The Belgium visionary has delighted audiences since 1991 with his unique catwalk shows during Fashion Week from a moss-carpet catwalk inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream for SS15 to models walking past ice-encased flowers in 2016.--HUNGER There's a raft of new-season fashion books coming your way. Top of our list? Dries Van Noten's two-book retrospective.--Sunday Times Style This past March marked the Belgian brand's one hundredth show and to celebrate, the designer is releasing a book set including over 2,000 photos from the archives.--Harper's Bazaar US This set of two books brings back to life each fashion show since his first "real" one in July 1991, through images and vivid anecdotes and the designer's own words.--Financial Times Weekend Thorough and detailed copy written by highly-regarded journalists Susannah Frankel and Tim Blanks complements quotes by Van Noten himself, in what is an inspirational and educational tome dedicated to the brightest and greatest in fashion.--Mojeh To mark Dries Van Noten's recent landmark, 100 fashion shows and collections, a new eponymous double-volume title (Lannoo Publishers, $180) showcases the complete works of the Antwerp Six alum, renowned for this immaculate tailoring and genius for bold patterns.--C Magazine Two photobooks contain about 2,000 photographs, as well as information on all collections and fashion shows since the founding of Dries van Noten.--Numero Germany Van Noten recently celebrated his 100th fashion show. To mark this benchmark, he is releasing a double volume photo book dedicated to his work over the years.--The Washington Post What's remarkable is how much the spectacle of fashion has meant to Dries from the beginning. Even when there were limited resources, there was an emphasis on extending the essence of the collection into this big, theatrical context.--Surface Mag With almost 35 years in the fashion industry, the Belgian designer has released a two-volume tome, published by Lannoo, to document a wealth of designs and a pattern and fabric-focused attention to his story.--Wallpaper This book immortalizes 50 of his collections in the form of mesmerizing images alongside commentary by fashion journalist Tim Blanks and fashion editor Susannah Frankel.--Elle Malaysia
