About the Book
Multicultural Symphony is Prof. K. V. Dominic’s third collection of poems after Winged Reason (2010) and Write Son, Write (2011). Having set a style of his own, Prof. Dominic writes on contemporary burning issues and topics on Wordsworthian lucidity and simplicity of expression. Imagination gives way to Reason in his poetry, and for him content or message is more important than the embellishments. Written in free verse, each of his poems makes the reader contemplate on intellectual, philosophical, spiritual, political, social and environmental issues of the present world. There are forty seven poems in this collection on a variety of topics ranging from multiculturalism, global warming, conservation, horoscope, casteism, dignity of labour, child labour, poverty, unemployment, environmental issues to purely subjective introspective matters.
