About the Author :
With an out-of-the-ordinary insight in hand Sourin Banerji has made a wonderful foray into the innermost anatomy of his self to find the window on divinity within. It is his wont, too, only honed by his journalistic proficiency that has helped pave the way to realization. His perceptions and experience coming into focus through autobiographical events aided by those of others around him all his life are variegated yet rich enough to make his insight all the more appealing. His information management in two English newspapers of the ABP group, Kolkata, besides two other Bengali dailies, also publihed from the city, has earned him fame as an applied journalist. Banerji was a visting faculty for over 20 years in journalism at Calcutta University from which he took his M.A. and LL.B. He also served the communication college of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan as a coordinator. As a Thomsonian seholar he visited Britain. Several of his professional works are textbooks in honours and post-graduate courses in journalism. This profitable interaction in the outer world has much helped the author go in for an empirical communion with the inmost divinity. His personal file written in an overly intimate style with a philosophical bent greatly smoothes out the runup to conceptual sublimation.
