About the Book

This volume seeks to revisit the Franco-Maghrebian representations of masculinity in the line of the New Men’s Studies examining the cultural codes, the aesthetical expressions as well as their interconnectedness with the socio-political realities. About the Author :
Claudia Gronemann, Ph.D. and Habilitation, University of Leipzig, is Professor of Romance Literatures at the University of Mannheim. She has published two monographs, including Postmodern/Postcolonial autobiography in French and Maghrebian Literature (Olms, 2002), antho¬logies and articles on French, Francophone and Hispanic Literatures.
