About the Book

When Constable David Maratse is invalided off the force, he moves to a small settlement to live the life of a subsistence hunter and fisherman. But when his long line hooks the body of a politician's daughter, he finds himself both suspect and investigator in Greenland's most sensational murder case. "Seven Graves, One Winter" is the first full novel featuring Greenlandic Police Constable David Maratse.

About the Author :
Christoffer Petersen lives in Denmark. Chris started writing stories about Greenland while teaching in Qaanaaq, the largest village in the very north of Greenland - the population peaked at 600 during the two years he lived there. Chris spent a total of seven years in Greenland, teaching in remote communities and at the Police Academy in the capital of Nuuk. He has a Master of Arts in Professional Writing and a growing backlist of crime novels and thrillers set in Greenland, the Arctic and Scandinavia.

Review :
The story is gripping and well thought out. The characters believable and the description of the locations and events are brilliant. This book left me eager to read more by the same author. (Amazon review) Recommend to everyone that likes a fast paced adventure, great characters, wonderful descriptions of the scenery. Want to read more books of the same quality. (Amazon review) I enjoyed the book not only as a very good read but I also learned a lot about Greenland. I shall be looking for other titles by Petersen. (Goodreads review) A well crafted, entertaining crime caper set in Greenland. If you enjoy police crime thrillers, you will enjoy this. (Goodreads review)
