RAVI MOHAN SETHI was born on 27 July 1947. He joined the prestigious Indian administrative service in 1970, and was allotted the U.P. Cadre. He held various important posts throughout his vareer but sought premature retirement from IAS in November 1995. Without clear plans, events shaped his moving into business on his own. He has set up the stellar Group of companies which is into real estate development , construction, as well as management consultancy, Stellar Parks, another group company, is in the Gymkhana, an exclusive club in greater Noida. Stellar informatics in into Banking and Financial Software. He is also the Chairman of the Citizen Cooperative Bank Noida, which has over 50,000 client accounts .

About the Author :
ASHOK LAVASA, currently Additional Secretary, Govt. of India has been in the Indian Administrative service since1980. Writing is his passion and he takes his first step forward as writer in An Uncivil Servant. With a masters in English literature from Delhi University and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Cross University in Australia, he taught literature for a year and a half, had a brief stint with the state Bank of India, and then joined the Civil Service. He is an eminent photographer and has held a number of exhibitions in many cities along with his photographer wife, Novel Lasvasa.
