About the Author :
Marcelo Romeo, referente destacado en el ámbito del Marketing y Comunicación de marca, es reconocido por su experiencia en la dirección de marketing, branding y comunicación corporativa. En 2017 lideró la "Súper Promo Eliminatorias Noblex", que es considerada la campaña argentina más exitosa en lo que va del siglo. Aquella historia caló tan profundo en la cultura popular que en 2022 llegó al cine a través de "El Gerente" (película producida por Paramount+), dirigida por Ariel Winograd. El film recrea lo sucedido en aquella promoción: "El Gerente" está inspirada en la gestión de Romeo.Pero además llevó adelante campañas icónicas que lograron el reconocimiento de la industria de las comunicaciones. Esas campañas obtuvieron premios en Cannes Lions, Effie Latam, Effie Argentina, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Premios Echo, Clio, Diente, One show, Mercurio, Lápiz de Oro y Lápiz de Platino. Entre sus reconocimientos personales, en 2024 Romeo fue destacado por Marketers Society Argentina como el "Marketer más innovador", y fue considerado el "Marketer más admirado" de Argentina, según la encuesta realizada por la consultora española Scopen. En años anteriores obtuvo el Premio al Marketer del Año otorgado por El Cronista y Revista Apertura.Es Licenciado en Relaciones Públicas, egresado de la Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), y posee un MBA de la Universidad de Belgrano (UB). Actualmente trabaja en un nuevo libro.
