About the Book

Nous vivons actuellement à l'ère de l'information, de la communication et des technologies, qui maintiennent la société en constante transformation, notamment dans le domaine de l'éducation et des comportements, influençant directement ou indirectement la construction de l'identité personnelle ou collective. En considérant que l'éducation se fait autant au sein de la famille qu'à l'école, il est possible d'observer plus clairement l'influence de ces éléments à travers la manière dont les enfants se comportent dans différents environnements. Cependant, pour comprendre la relation élève-école, nous suivons la perspective de Perrenoud (1994), qui considère que l'école est un lieu de socialisation multiple et que le développement de l'identité de l'élève se fait également dans ce contexte. Par identité, nous entendons la perspective de Dubar (1995), qui la considère comme un processus en constante construction. En établissant une relation entre les médias et l'identité, la présente étude s'est proposée d'étudier l'influence des médias sur la construction de l'identité des élèves, en se basant sur les cours d'éducation physique, moment où les élèves ont le plus de possibilités d'expression corporelle.
