About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

To mark the 125th anniversary of Erich Fromm's birth, we present this previously unpublished work--a collection of essays in which the author explores the enduring presence of love in our lives.

What do we aspire to in life? What defines it?

Erich Fromm has long offered profound reflections on essential aspects of human existence: how to be authentic or creative, how to define our lives, how to love ourselves, and how we face death or depression. He also explored a particularly timely and relevant question: what would happen if we introduced a universal basic income for individuals and society?

In Do We Still Love Life?, Fromm invites us to consider one of the most pressing questions of our time: are we rushing through life, or do we pause to truly live it--and, above all, to love it?
