About the Book

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION "The stone hit me in the ribs, and that was enough to make me stop believing in death.” The Fates live in the shadows of the earthly world with a single goal: to guide souls to the beyond. One of them, with a newly cracked rib, begins feeling human emotions. In her interactions with mortals, she discovers the nuances of affection, loss and guilt. While struggling to ensure a meaningful transition to the next world that eases the pain of the souls in her care, she confronts the irony of her own existence. When I Saw Death Lend Its Shadow is a profound exploration of what it means to be human, the connections we forge, and the things we leave behind. Will this Fate discover a new purpose in love and compassion? Is the price of emotion too high for one destined not to feel?

About the Author :
