Die deutsche Schullandschaft sieht sich einer stetig wachsenden sprachlichen und kulturellen Heterogenität in den Klassenräumen gegenüber, auf die es bestmöglich zu reagieren gilt. In diesem Sammelband werden potentielle Lösungsansätze diskutiert: Hauptsächlich wird ein Blick über die Grenzen auf Gesellschaften im romanischen Sprachraum geworfen, die aufgrund ihrer historischen Entwicklung und der aktuellen politischen Gegebenheiten als polyglott gelten, um zu beleuchten, wie dort mit der hohen Diversität an Sprache/n und Kultur/en umgegangen wird. Darüber hinaus werden einzelne konkrete Vorschläge erarbeitet, um diesen neuen Herausforderungen insbesondere im Fremdsprachenunterricht gerecht zu werden. Die Ergebnisse des reichhaltigen Diskurses werden in einem zusammenfassenden Beitrag vorgestellt.

About the Author :
Dr. Aline Willems ist Juniorprofessorin für Didaktik der modernen Fremdsprachen an der Universität zu Köln. Ihre Lehrgebiete umfassen die Didaktik der romanischen Sprachen, des Englischen, Niederländischen, Russischen und Japanischen. Im Forschungsbereich konzentriert sie sich v.a. auf die Didaktik der romanischen Sprachen. Dr. Sylvia Thiele ist Universitätsprofessorin für die Didaktik der romanischen Sprachen und Literaturen an der Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz. Ihre Lehr- und Forschungsgebiete umfassen die Didaktik der romanischen Sprachen, Mehrsprachigkeitsdidaktik unter Berücksichtigung der Migrationssprache Türkisch, EMILE (Französisch und Sport, Musik, Darstellendes Spiel), Sprachlehr- und -lernforschung, Lernmittelkonzeption, Grammatikographie in dia- und synchroner Perspektive, Fachsprachen, Sprachtypologie, Dolomitenladinisch und Sardisch. Dr. Johannes Kramer ist emeritierter Universitätsprofessor für romanische Sprachwissenschaft an der Universität Trier nach vorherigen Tätigkeiten in Köln und Siegen. Seine Forschungsgebiete umfassen die Sprachkontakte zwischen Latein und Romanisch, die italienische Dialektologie, die Geschichte des Dolomitenladinischen, die Besonderheiten des Rumänischen sowie das Nebeneinander von Französisch, Niederländisch und Luxemburgisch in der Geschichte Belgiens und Luxemburgs.
