About the Book

Review :
"Matthias Neuber's book represents an important contribution to the relatively young discipline of the History of Philosophy of Science. ... This, in my opinion, is the most important contribution of the book, which makes it obligatory reading for those interested in the emergence of the philosophy of science in Germany before the great intellectual diaspora of the thirties." (Marco Giovanelli, Journal for General Philosophy of Science, Vol. 45, 2014)
