Wie kaum ein anderer Philosoph hat François Jullien in den letzten Jahrzehnten eine westlich-selbstkritische Auseinandersetzung mit dem chinesischen Denken befördert. About the Author :
Murat Ates ist Philosoph und Kulturwissenschaftler. Seine bisherige Tätigkeit als Forscher und Lehrender erstreckt sich auf mehrere Institutionen, darunter die Universität Wien, die Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, die Webster University, die Universität des Saarlandes und die Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien. Als Redakteur arbeitet er bei der Zeitschrift Polylog. Fracois Jullien ist Philosoph und Sinologe. Er war unter anderem Direktor des Collège international de philosophie und Professor an der Universität Paris-Diderot. Für sein Werk wurde er vielfach ausgezeichnet, unter anderem mit dem Hannah-Arendt-Preis für politisches Denken. Georg Stenger ist emeritierter Professor des Lehrstuhls »Philosophie in einer global Welt« an der Universität Wien. Er war langjähriger Präsident der Gesellschaft für interkulturelle Philosophie (GIP). Derzeit ist er als Gastprofessor an der Chinese University of Hong Kong tätig.
