About the Author :

Peter Buxmann ist Professor fur Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Technischen Universitat Darmstadt. Er befasst sich mit den okonomischen Prinzipien der Softwareindustrie und forscht auf den Gebieten Standardisierung von Informationssystemen, Cloud Computing sowie Software as a Service. 2006 grundete er die Software Economics Group Darmstadt-Munchen.

Heiner Diefenbach ist Vorstandsvorsitzenderder borsennotierten TDS Aktiengesellschaft, Neckarsulm und gehort der Geschaftsleitung der deutschen Fujitsu Services GmbH an. Er ist ein seit rund zwei Jahrzenten erfahrener CFO und Finanzvorstand in der IT-Industrie und verantwortet das SAP-Mittelstands- und Systemhausgeschaft der TDS AG

Thomas Hess ist Professor fur Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat Munchen. In der Software Economics Group beschaftigt er sich u.a. mit Geschaftsmodellen von Software- und Serviceanbietern, der industrialisierung der Softwareentwicklung und mit Open Source. Weiter Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind die Digitalisierung der Medienbranche sowie IT-basierte Steuerungssysteme."
