Zwischenprufungsarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Padagogik - Reformpadagogik, Note: 1,0, Universitat Potsdam (Institut fur Padagogik), Veranstaltung: Sozialistische Erziehungstheorien wahrend der Weimarer Republik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Zwischenkriegszeit in Deutschland, die Weimarer Republik, war gepragt von Aufbruchsstimmung, Unruhen, Demokratisierungsversuchen und Reformbewegungen. Diese Stimmungen fanden sich in Bildungs- und Erziehungstheorien dieser Zeit wieder. Die Reformpadagogik, deren erster Hohepunkt Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts durch den 1. Weltkrieg jah unterbrochen wurde, fand in der demokratischen Weimarer Republik ideale Voraussetzungen fur eine zweite Blutezeit. So gab es dann auch zahlreiche Bewegungen mit unterschiedlichsten Hintergrunden, die alle von einer besseren neuen Form der Bildung und Erziehung traumten. Neben den burgerlichen Reformpadagogen, die in der Tradition von Montessori oder Steiner standen, gab es vor allem in den Arbeiterparteien und linken Stromungen der Weimarer Republik Personen und Gruppen, welche die Ideale des Sozialismus auf die Bildung und Erziehung ubertragen wollten. Dafur entwickelten sie zahlreiche Konzepte von einer zukunftigen Schule, einer neuen Erziehung, die gepragt waren von humanistischen und sozialistischen Idealen. In dieser Arbeit werden neben einer Einfuhrung in die Prinzipien der sozialistischen Padagogik zwei ihrer Vertreter der Weimarer Republik mit ihrem Leben und Wirken vorgestellt. Paul Oestreich und Theodor Neubauer, ein Sozialdemokrat und ein Kommunist entwarfen zu Beginn der 20er Jahre ihre personlichen Konzepte von Schule. Diese Konzepte werden in dieser Arbeit interpretiert und miteinander verglichen. Es soll untersucht werden, welche Motivationen hinter den Konzepten standen, ob sie als Beispiele sozialistischer Padagogik gelten konnen und inwiefern sich sozialdemokratische und kommunistische Vorstellungen von zukunftiger Erziehung ahneln und welche Unterschiede sie aufweisen
