Sie ist das wichtigste Schriftstuck, welches diese beiden Religionen beurkundet. Die Bezeichnungen fur die christliche Bibel belaufen sich aufHeilige Schrift, Wort Gotteswie auchBuch der Bucher.Die christliche Bibel unterscheidet zwei Teile: das Alte Testament (auch Erstes Testament) und das Neue Testament. Der Inhalt des Alten Testaments wird in drei Gruppen eingeteilt: 'a) Geschichtsbucher, Darstellung aus der Geschichte des Volkes Gottes; b) Lehrbucher, das ein Problem in Gesprachsform behandelnde Buch Hiob und die poetischen Schriften; c) prophetische Bucher, die Reden der Propheten'. Die hebraische Bibel wirdTenachoder auchTanachgenannt. Dabei teilt sich der Tenach im Vergleich zur christlichen Bibel in verschiedene Teile auf. Der Kanon der hebraischen Bibel setzt sich aus folgenden drei Teilen zusammen: Tora (hebraisch: Belehrung, Lehre) Nebiim (hebraisch: Propheten) und Ketubim (hebraisch: Schriften). Die Anfangsbuchstaben dieser Teile bilden das Wort Tenach. Die Tora umfasst funf Bucher und wird deshalb auch oft mit der griechischen BezeichnungPentateuchbenannt. Da sich die Erzahlung um David im Nebiim befindet, werde ich in dieser Hausarbeit nicht weiter auf die Tora und den Ketubim eingehen.Der zweite Teil des Tenach ist der Nebiim und gliedert sich wiederum in Nebbiim rischonim (die ersten Propheten) und Nebiim acharonim (die spateren Propheten) auf. Im Nebiim rischonim beschreiben die ersten Propheten die Geschichte Israels von der Eroberung Kanaans bis zur Zerstorung des Tempels. In den Buchern des Propheten Samuel (Schemuel) wird das Leben und Wirken Davids beschrieben.Diese Bucher (1. und 2. Buch Samuel) und teilweise auch das 1. Buch der Konige (hebraisch: Melachim) sind meine Bezugsquellen fur die Geschichte um David. Sie sind in der christlichen Bibel in den prophetischen Buchern zu finden.
