Es wurde immer wieder nach dem Bosen gefragt. Das Thema bleibt aktuell auch in unserer Zeit. Wenn irgendwo die Frage nach dem Bosen auftaucht, werden die Uberlegungen auch zu Gott fuhren. In jeder Religion gibt es die Vertreter der Machte der Finsternis. Das konnen Gotter, oder metaphysische Krafte, oder abgefallene Geschopfe sein. Genauso wie Yin und Yang immer zusammen betrachtet werden, ist es auch relevant das Bose im Zusammenhang mit Gott auszulegen. Wenn man das Problem des Bosen zu losen versucht, stosst man an Fragen um Gott an. Wie die Menschheit nie alle Fragen uber Gott beantworten kann, so wird auch das Problem des Bosen nie gelost werden. Trotzdem beschaftigten sich damit die grossten Denker der Menschheit zu jeder Zeit. Auch heute wollen die Menschen diesen Versuch, die Losung zu finden, nicht aufgeben. Im Christentum nahm der Konflikt zwischen der Existenz des Bosen und dem Verstandnis uber Gott eine Form an, die David Hume in kurzen Worte folgend ausdruckt: Will er Ubel verhuten und kann nicht Dann ist er unmachtig.
