'Tanzerinnen und Tanzer zum Beispiel - uberhaupt Menschen, die tanzen oder verstehen, was Tanz ist - haben ein privilegiertes Wahrnehmungsvermogen: Sie wissen immer, wo sie stehen oder nicht stehen. Ich weiss, wo mein Korper ist, denn mein Korper ist mein Spielfeld.' So eroffnet William FORSYTHE Anfang 2004 den Patenbrief zu Theater- und Tanzprojekten im Rahmen der Initiative der Kulturstiftung der Lander zur asthetischen Bildung fur Kinder und Jugendliche.Ich fuhlte mich bei diesen Zeilen erinnert an das Orientalische Tanzzelt, das wir anlasslich des Schulfestes der Erich Kastner-Schule fur Sprachbehinderte im vergangenen Sommer auf dem Schulhof aufgestellt hatten. Ich erinnerte mich an den Spass, den ich mit den Schulerinnen bei der Erarbeitung und Auffuhrung orientalischer Tanzkombinationen hatte. Ausgewahlt hatten der Klassenlehrer der 2a und ich das Thema - Einfuhrung in den Orientalischen Tanz - als zusatzliche, einmal ganz andere Bewegungsforderung fur die Schulerinnen, die zum Teil erhebliche verbale und motorische Probleme aufwiesen. Zudem bot es die Moglichkeit, die Schulerinnen etwas offentlich auffuhren zu lassen, das etwas Faszinierendes, Fremdartiges hat, und das ganz bestimmt niemand besser kann als sie selbst. Die Resonanz der Schulerinnen auf die zu erlernenden Bewegungen ahnelte der teilweise muhseligen Ersteigung eines Berges, dessen wahre Hohe man von unten nicht wirklich einschatzen konnte, ahnlich wie es VON WELCK ein halbes Jahr spater in dem Buch zur obigen Kulturforderinitiative beschreibt. Doch das Ergebnis konnte sich sehen lassen, die Auffuhrungen wurden ein grosser Erfolg, Zuschauer und Kolleginnen waren begeistert, Korperbeherrschung und Selbstbewusstsein der Schulerinnen wuchs
