Einleitung In dieser Arbeit wird ein Uberblick uber die Techniken der nichtproportionalen Ruckversicherung gegeben. Das bedeutet: Es werden die einzelnen nichtproportionalen Ruckversicherungsformen beschrieben und verschiedene Aspekte beleuchtet. Diese Arbeit orientiert sich in Aufbau und Inhalt im wesentlichen an der in Buchform herausgegebenen Dissertation des Herrn Dr. Peter Liebwein 'Klassische und moderne Formen der Ruckversicherung'. Die nichtproportionale Ruckversicherung grenzt sich von der proportionalen Ruckversicherung vor allem dadurch ab, dass sie auf einzelnen Schaden oder Ereignissen bzw. Schaden eines bestimmten Zeitraums basiert, und dass die Pramie nur minimal durch die Originalpramie beeinflusst wird. Die nichtproportionale Ruckversicherung folgt oft der proportionalen Ruckversicherung, bei der die relevante Grosse das Risiko, also die Schadenmoglichkeit ist, wahrend die relevante Grosse bei der nichtproportionalen Ruckversicherung der tatsachliche Schaden, der geteilt wird, ist. Nach den drei wichtigsten Formen Einzelschaden-, Kumulschadenexzedentenruckversicherung und Stop Loss werden noch drei weitere Formen der nichtproportionalen Ruckversicherung behandelt. Es lasst sich zudem zeigen, dass sich alle Formen unter dem Oberbegriff 'Schadenexzedent' subsumieren lassen, weil bei jeder Form eine Grenze uberschritten werden muss oder wird. Einzelschadenexzedentenruckversicherung Diese Ruckversicherungsform wird auch kurz Einzelschadenexzedent genannt und bezieht sich auf einen einzelnen Schaden. Sie ist vor allen Dingen in Versicherungszweigen mit sehr seltenen Grossschaden anzutreffen, wie der Haftpflicht-, der Feuer- und der Personenversicherung. Mittels der Abbildung 3.1 werden nun einige Begriffe erklart. Abbildung 3.1 In dieser Grafik sind Schaden des Erstversicherungsunternehmens in verschiedenen Hohen dargestellt. Dies konnten z.B. die Selbstbehalte aus proportionaler Ruckversicherung sein, die das EVU noch einmal nichtproportional ruckversichert hat. Die Prioritat bezeichnet die Obergrenze des Selbstbehalts, den das EVU mit der Ruckversicherung im nichtproportionalen Ruckversicherungsvertrag vereinbart h
