About the Author :
The Author: Horst Friedrich Rolly, born 1950 in Heidelberg, studied education and philosophy at the Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg (Germany) and completed his Ph. D. there. He lived and worked in India from 1987 to 1995, serving as head of the Department for Development Studies and Social Service at Spicer M. College (Pune). At present he is academic dean of social work and responsible for international development at Friedensau University (Theologische Hochschule Friedensau), Germany.
