Der Zweite Weltkrieg fraß die Freiheit - Quislings Quislinge-Verrat lud Nazis ein, doch Ski-Widerständler und Saboteure sanken Schiffe in Fjorden, während Norwegens Gold in Alliierten Tresoren glänzte. Nachkriegsjahre pumpten Nordsee-Öl hoch, Ekofisk-Plattformen machten aus Fischern Fürsten, und Oslo wurde EU-Skeptiker mit Nobelpreisen im Gepäck. Heute flüstern Sami-Joiken in Lappland von uralten Rechten, während Fjorde mit Elektrobooten gleiten und Klimawandel Gletscher frisst. Norwegens Geschichte ist kein ruhiges Fjordbild - es ist ein Orkan aus Heldensagen und harten Händen, der zeigt, wie ein schmales Land mit Widderhorn und Willen die Weltwellen reitet.
