About the Book
The present hardback contains two distinct publications. The first part of the hardback holds issue 1, volume 1, of the new journal "ANACM" (Applied Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics, ISSN 1611-8170, Editor-in-Chief: T.E. Simos). The second part contains the "NACoM-2003 Extended Abstracts" book (ISBN 3-527-40462-7, Editor: G. Psihoyios), which includes the accepted refereed proceedings of the International Conference on Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics (NACoM-2003). The conference was held at the Department of Mathematics, Anglia Polytechnic University, Cambridge, UK for the four days' duration between May 23 and May 26, 2003. The primary objectives of the Conference were to bring together leading members of the worldwide Numerical and Computational Mathematics community and to attract original research papers of very high quality. These proceedings represent an excellent confirmation of the successful realization of the Conference's objectives.
