About the Author :
Ansgar Jüngel ist Professor für partielle Differentialgleichungen am Institut für Analysis und Scientific Computing der Technischen Universität Wien. In seiner Lehrtätigkeit widmet er sich vor allem der Anwendung von partiellen Differentialgleichungen in den Natur- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften. Er ist seit 2007 federführend für das Buch "Mathematik für Chemiker", welches von H.G. Zachmann begründet wurde und erstmals 1972 erschien.
