Haralabos Zorbas is Professor for Biochemistry at LMU, Munich, group leader at the MPI Martinsried, Germany and Co--Manager of the BioM Venture Capital GmbH & Co. Initiativ KG, Munich. He is a member of various societies such as the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the International Society for Gene Therapy and Molecular Biology, and the German Society of Cancer. Professor Zorbas is the author of numerous scientific publications as well as co--editor of the extremely successful German book "Bioanalytk" (Spektrum Akademischer Verlag, 1998), which sold more than 14,000 copies within 6 years.
