In einer globalisierten Welt ist ein interdisziplinärer Dialog über Ethik und Menschenrechte möglich, notwendig und fruchtbar für die Rechtswissenschaft. Ethik kann einerseits als eine Grundlage der Menschenrechte gesehen werden, andererseits formt sie aber auch bereits existierende Menschenrechte neu. Dieser Sammelband enthält die Beiträge zu einer internationalen und interdisziplinären Konferenz zum Thema "Ethik und Menschenrechte in einer globalisierten Welt", die im Herbst 2008 in Jerusalem stattfand. Junge Wissenschaftler aus Israel und Deutschland aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen wie Jura, Philosophie, Politikwissenschaften und Theologie schreiben hier über die Grundlagen der Menschenrechte, die Kollision unterschiedlicher Formen der Menschenrechte und wirksame Strategien zu ihrer Durchsetzung.
