About the Book

The proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Civil Engineering are mainly aimed at middle and senior engineering and technical personnel in the field of civil engineering. It mainly reports the development of various professional fields of civil engineering, major civil engineering records, important achievements and development status of building structures, bridge structures, geotechnical mechanics and foundations, tunnels and underground structures, road and traffic engineering, construction management and other majors in scientific research and design, and also publishes papers and reports that are intersecting or closely related to the above majors in building materials, ports, water conservancy, computer applications, mechanics, disaster prevention and mitigation, etc. The purpose of this dissertation is to promote academic exchanges in the field of civil engineering at home and abroad.

Table of Contents:
.Part 1 Architecture and Civil Engineering .- 1 Experimental Study on Parameters of Hardening Soil Model with Small Strain Stiffness for Muddy Silty Clay and Silty Sandy Soil in Yangtze Floodplain Area.- 2 Effects of Coal Metakaolin on Compressive Strength and Microstructure of Cemented Soil.- Part II Modern Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering.- 1 Use of Temporal Convolutional Network with an Attention Mechanism and a Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit to Capture and Predict Slope Debris Flow Risk.- 2 Study on Selection of Excavation Methods and Spacing Distance for Ultra-shallow-buried and River-crossing Tunnel with Small Clearance, etc.

About the Author :
Guangliang Feng, PhD, Professor, is working in Wuhan Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main research is deep rockmass mechanics and underground engineering safety. He has been selected in several provincial and ministerial level talent programs, such as Outstanding Youth Program of Hubei Province, Top Young Talent Program of Hubei Province, and Youth Talent Support Project of China Association for Science and Technology. He served as editorial board members of about 10 mainstream SCI/EI journals.  Bo Zhang, Professor of Shandong University, Doctoral supervisor, National registered structural engineer. He is mainly engaged in high-pressure water jet, laser and other high efficiency rock-breaking method, mechanism and equipment; rock and soil damage mechanism, anchor bolt(cable) and grouting reinforcement; building structure and foundation reinforcement. He has published more than 40 papers as the first or corresponding author in Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology, Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, International Journal of Geomechanics (ASCE), Construction and Building Materials and so on. Dr. Xiao-Yong Wang has a dual background in building materials and structural engineering. He received his master’s degree in Structural Engineering in 2005 and his Ph.D. degree in Architectural Engineering in 2010. Current position: Dr. Xiao-Yong Wang is now a full professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering and the Department of Energy Infrastructure Engineering at Kangwon National University, South Korea. So far, as the corresponding author and/or first author, he has published more than 140 SCOPUS-indexed papers and has supervised four projects supported by the National Science Foundation of Korea. Junxian Zhao is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the South China University of Technology. He is now assistant dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, and head of the Civil Engineering Department. He is awarded the title of national high-level young talent, leader of the excellent young team in Guangdong Province, Guangdong Province Outstanding Young Scholar. He has published more than 80 papers, including more than 40 high-level papers in JCR Q1/Q2 journals and first-level journals (12 papers published in Engineering Structures as the first or corresponding author) Dr. Ana Almerich-Chulia, is the associate professor of the Department of Continuum Mechanics and Theory of Structures, Polythenic University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain. Dr. She focuses her research interests on issues of project structural analysis, reinforced concrete, composites, finite element modelling, innovative materials.
