About the Author :
Godspower Oparaugo was born in Imo State, Nigeria. He obtained his National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede; Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Abia State Polytechnic, Aba. He also obtained a Chartered Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). His article: "Africa and Leadership" was published in 2017 by Modern Ghana. The Power of Decision is his first book. He has also written other books. He is a youth activist and a creative thinker. ******* In 1999, Godspower completed his primary education from Community Primary School, Okolochi Owerri and was awarded "First School Leaving Certificate," and proceeded to Newbreed Secondary School, Badiko Kaduna for his post primary education and completed it and was awarded "West African Senior School Certificate" in 2008. He has gained lots of experiences in sales and marketing even before he completed his post primary education in 2008. In 2007, he worked in Onyemauche Motors, Kaduna State (a motor spare parts sales company) as a sales personnel and left for his academics in 2009. In 2010 he was admitted into Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri to study Purchasing and Supply. In 2012 he was accepted by Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) to do his one year Industrial Training as a prerequisite for the award of National Diploma; he served in FUTO Central Stores, and completed his I.T in 2013 and was awarded "National Diploma" in Purchasing and Supply by the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede. In 2013 Godspower proceeded to Abia State Polytechnic Aba, where he was offered admission to study marketing and was awarded "Higher National Diploma" in Marketing in 2015. As a result of his brilliance, in the same 2015, he sat for marketing professional examination even before he graduated and was among the 5 candidates who passed out of the 17 candidates who applied for the examination. And he was awarded "Chartered Graduate Diploma" in Marketing by the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and has retained the title of Graduate Member of NIMN. Currently, he is pursuing his associate membership with NIMN. In 2017, he was mobilized to serve his fatherland under the scheme of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and was posted to Emgreat Realities Resources Limited, Akwa Ibom State to serve for the period of one year, where he gained lots of experiences in purchasing and logistics, supervision and market survey.
