5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Story! This is a really lovely story with beautiful illustrations. Pip's journey from nest to shore touches on themes of family, growing and changing, resilience and survival, conservation, and courage. My pre school class loved the illustrations and the story was both relatable and engaging. The real live pictures of "pip' and information about conservation at the end of the story provided fantastic additional learning opportunities for my little ones and really brought the story to life. Pip the Plover and the Dune Grass Path will be a staple in my class for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspires curiosity and care for natureSuch a sweet book - written and illustrated by a talented mother and daughter duo. The story gently weaves together a message of emotional awareness and environmental care which makes it both heartfelt and educational. It teaches little ones to respect nature and understand conservation signs - which is something I rarely see in children's books. It's a lovely read for young nature lovers and a super way to introduce coastal ecology to our little ones. It includes a section at theback, that has real facts and photos about piping plovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars adorableHow adorable is this book?! My goodness! It's a simple story but an important one that humankind can relate to. I've been to several beaches where wildlife is protected with signs and physical barriers to keep the animals undisturbed. It's great that kids are taught this early so they know the importance of caring for animals. The illustrations were nice as well. This makes a great family book to add to the collection.
