About the Book

Audrey Ferrington has everything-or so it seems. Brilliant, driven, and fresh from the halls of medical school, she stands at the edge of a promising career. But behind the white coat lies a heart divided. Caught between two men-one who ignites her ambition, the other her deepest desires-Audrey faces the ultimate dilemma: Can she truly have it all? Passion, purpose, and love collide in a story about choices, consequences, and the courage it takes to live on your own terms. Philip Hornsby-strikingly handsome, debonair-is heir to one of America's leading philanthropic foundations. Hornsby is confident but not haughty, the rare individual who knows what he wants. Preparing to run for political office, he pursues a childhood dream by attempting to climb Mount Everest's sheer vertical wall at 26,000 feet. Seasoned adventurers label this intended route as suicidal. Ferrington, during her medical residency, works alongside Dr. Nickolas Batiste Kalamatra. Never did she anticipate that the socially awkward physician would follow her to the Himalayas where she was the medical director of the Hornsby expedition. In this romantic adventure novel, heroism and obligations are stretched to their limit. A battle rages. Whom to choose? Conquest, romance, and intrigue pulsate as the two men try to win Ferrington's tangled heart.

About the Author :
Bart Sobel grew up in Long Island, New York. His career followed two paths. Before starting his professorship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he took a sabbatical and journeyed to Mount Everest. At UNC, Bart was recognized with the Nickolas Salgo undergraduate distinguished teaching award.A second path led him to follow his father's footsteps as a summer camp director in New Hampshire. Bart spent seventy-two summers on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, forty years as a camp director. A highlight of that career was sitting around a campfire spinning stories. Thousands of youth were enthralled by his tales. In retirement, two interests have been prominent: writing stories, and along with his wife, Lynda, traveling the world raising money for pediatric cancer by participating in marathons. Presently, Bart lives in New York City.
