Brandy Marks is an author, artist, and former mental health counselor with a lifelong passion for storytelling, faith, and the unseen dimensions of human experience. She worked as a registered professional nurse for over twenty years before earning her Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from City University in 1994. In 2001, she became a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State and later earned a Doctor of Religious Studies in Biblical Counseling with distinction from Trinity Theological Seminary in 2009.
Following her recent retirement from private practice in Vancouver, Washington, Brandy now focuses on writing and creative work. She also shares spontaneous reflections and short videos across Facebook, YouTube, and Zoom, where she speaks candidly about faith, healing, and the spiritual dimensions of life.
"In the counseling office," she says, "I became increasingly aware of the need to help people build their faith through the Word of God while recognizing the unseen spiritual influences that shape our lives for good or ill."
When she isn't writing, Brandy enjoys painting, filming, and spending time with her cat, and two Aussies.
