About the Author :
William Anderson grew up in Romania, an ex-communist country. The revolution took place in 1989 and he was born in 1996 into a country that was already very poor. He always dreamed big and wanted to dedicate his life to something meaningful. After giving up his dream of becoming a professional soccer player due to a lack of resources and support he focused all of his energy on only one thing: conquering the IFBB PRO Men's Physique division in Bodybuilding. Due to several injuries and his body giving up on him, he was forced to start a business that eventually made an excellent profit.Now he's made it his purpose to share with others what he has learned through these all ups and downs. He writes books for those looking to achieve their goals through hard work.

1."This book has an abundance of very useful and applicable wisdom regarding this essential topic. Ideally I would rate it between 4 and 5 stars just because of the one part I wasn't particularly on board with which was taking responsibility for everything in life, which kind of seemed to clash with the previous point of letting go of what you cannot change. I see what the author is saying about how blaming others can be a bad habit, but I also feel that taking too much responsibility in life can cause one to gaslight themselves and getting too carried away with this type of mentality can result in "toxic positivity" and narcissism if one is not mindful of that. Other than that though it is an excellent book in my opinion and I highly recommend it." 2."I consider myself tough and resilient, and the book helps you identify how tough you are and how to improve. This double edition covers a lot. If you have had trouble sticking to your plans and achieving your goals this is a great book for you. A practical easy to follow guide to get you on track." 3."Reading this book, I took away that in order to succeed, one must be mentally tough, and one becomes mentally tough by being deeply disciplined. One comes from the other, and one is rooted in the other." 4."I'm always on the lookout for books on self-improvement. This book proved to be an interesting read. (It's actually two books in one... even better!) It covered some invaluable topics, i.e., the importance of consistency, goal setting, building healthy habits, and delaying gratification. Some people might complain that such ideas are obvious. But the book maintains that most people fail to implement them, regardless of how obvious they may be. Besides, knowledge without implementation is akin to a Rolls Royce with no gas in the tank. It's great, but it's going to take you very far. I particularly enjoyed the discussion on mentors; specifically finding the right mentor to emulate. Learning from "masters" is an invaluable way to improve the self. But my favorite part of the book was the importance of eliminating excuses. Indeed, the biggest obstacles to self-improvement are excuses. This book will be a worthy addition to my collection of betterment books." 5."This is a two-book bundle. The first book talks about self-discipline and why consistent long-term self-discipline is necessary. Each chapter has key takeaways. The author explains why it's essential to know WHY we want something and how to delay gratification and keep pursuing even when we aren't motivated. The second book is about mental toughness. It includes daily habits to achieve it. Knowing if you are mentally weak and what to do about it. Throughout both books, you'll learn valuable principles. The challenge sections let you put what you learned into practice. Well-written and researched."
