About the Author :
Deborah Hall Subetto is an accomplished author and passionate Christian communicator who holds a master's degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. With nearly thirty years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Deborah dedicated her career to helping others effectively communicate. After many years teaching the Bible to children through her local church, an amazing series of events led her to become the mistress of Shepherd's Gate Farm, where she cares for more than thirty animals - goats, ducks, chickens, one rabbit, a mouse, dogs, two barn cats and one inside cat (who is not allowed to eat the mouse). Inspired by the lessons God had taught her through her animal family, Deborah responded to God's calling and embarked on a new path utilizing her writing and artistic skills, along with her amazing farm experiences, to share God's Word with children and adults alike through creative story-telling and art. Deborah Hall Subetto has previously published three adult devotional books, and the first set of the "Your Child and You" Series: "Rooted in the King's Garden." Deborah's inspiration for this series came from her first grandchild, whose limitless potential prompted her to introduce the importance of a meaningful relationship with Jesus in creative and accessible ways. Her desire is for children and grandchildren to embrace the incredible treasure of knowing and trusting our heavenly Father, who sustains us through all seasons of life. For Deborah, leaving a lasting legacy means equipping our loved ones with the life-transforming power of a heart overflowing with God's extravagant love. With each turn of the page, she invites readers to experience joy as they embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the depths of God's amazing character and His perfect plan.
