About the Book

When John Rust got into the race for Indiana's open U.S. Senate seat, he discovered that eight out of ten Hoosiers were banned from running for political office thanks to an unconstitutional law meant to protect political insiders. In a landmark victory, John won ballot access for himself and for conservative Hoosiers across the great state of Indiana. And he's not done taking on the establishment. In Unsilencing the 81%, John Rust sets the record straight on anti-trust laws, Covid, the avian flu, and more. John Rust is a sixth-generation farmer. As Chairman of Rose Acre Farms-a small family operation started in the '30s and today the second largest egg producer in the United States-John oversaw the employment of thousands of Hoosiers. Continuing a family legacy of standing up for the rights and wellbeing of generations of Hoosiers, John Rust sets the record straight on issues that matter as he champions conservative voices, businesses, and families in Indiana and beyond.

About the Author :
John Rust grew up alongside the chickens on his family's farms. What started as nothing more than a dream and a pickup truck has become one of the country's leading producers of a healthy and affordable source of nutrition-eggs. He spent decades working on the farms, which shaped him into a man who values hard work, freedom, and the American Dream. After seeing that dream threatened by corruption and authoritarianism, he shifted his focus from eggs to America. Now, John is using his farmer's work ethic to fight for the principles and values that made this country one where a smalltown farmer can grow a nationwide business or represent his fellow Americans in the U.S. Senate!

Review :
"Every page and every story take you on a wild ride that exposes the challenges, dangers, and frustrations faced by American farmers and all our hardworking citizens. As we farmers do, he says it like it is and shows he's not afraid to tackle an issue head-on. But this book isn't just about farming; it's a cautionary tale and a call to protect our nation from government corruption and the creeping authoritarianism, as John exposes how very real this danger is to us all, even if we don't yet see it. Whether you're a seasoned farmer, a patriot, or just someone who enjoys a good read about hard work, liberty, and American opportunity, Unsilencing the 81% will captivate and inspire you. God bless John, God bless our farmers, and God bless the land of the free." -Sid Miller, Texas Commissioner of Agriculture "Food. Quality, abundant, affordable food. The farming families of America are the lifeblood of life itself and John Rust in his book, Unsilencing the 81%, celebrates the ongoing culture war on behalf of the American farming way of life. Without the unshackling of the American farmer, there is no American Dream." -Ted Nugent "From time to time we need to be reminded that government doesn't create and government doesn't innovate. They destroy, and they waste. John Rust does a good job of showing us the reality of how we have lost the idea that politicians and office holders are there to serve the people with delegated authority. They were never intended to be power brokers that can't be held accountable. It's time to get back to the basics. This book should help." -Chad Prather
