At the same time, it preserves the paragraph structure and presentation of the text, which helps keep principles and ideas together and avoids the fragmentation that can occur when material is divided into very small one- or two-sentence sections.
LDS D&C navigation aids appear as red section numbers in brackets beside the T&C Section headers with D&C verse numbers shown inline where there is D&C content in the Teachings and Commandments, making these familiar references easy to locate while reading.
Additionally, this edition includes eight additional sections voted upon and canonized by the body of believers in 2025, along with minor edits to section header introductions. This edition also includes corrections identified after the first edition was printed.
