About the Book

A lot of people can write a book of "how-tos." What Kim Eley has created with From Mess to Message is a "how-to with heart." Through her humor, gentleness, straight talk, and vast expertise, she takes you on a journey. This book is much more than an outline of what to do and when to do it-it's a handbook for making decisions, for how to keep moving forward when you get stuck, and for remembering why you're writing your book in the first place.

About the Author :
Kimberley (Kim) Wells Eley, Morgan James Kids Publisher and CEO of KWE Publishing, lives in Prince George, VA, with her wonderful husband/BFF, three four-legged furry children, and even though she snorts when she laughs, has lots of wonderful friends and family members who will actually spend time with her in public. A graduate of the College of William and Mary and Virginia Commonwealth University, Eley proves that an English major can indeed find employment. She is an author, a writing coach, a life tech, a publisher, a Muse, and a speaker! She adores cats, orchids, horror movies, cooking for her husband and friends, '80's hair metal, and gets all her news from comedy shows.

Review :

Kim Wells Eley's From Mess to Message is a must-read for any new author. Although we all have at least one great story inside of us, most never get produced - or even started - because the writing and publishing process can be so opaque and daunting. This concise book, which is simultaneously humorous and insightful, dispels the mystery surrounding that process by providing would-be authors with practical tips for organizing thoughts, identifying an audience, developing an outline/game plan, and seeing the project through to completion. Kim Wells Eley is a trusted expert who is willing to share the secrets to writing success with you, thereby helping to avoid common pitfalls and to maintain creative momentum so that your story can reach its target audience. From Mess to Message offers an essential tool for making dreams of authorship a reality. -Eric Stas
