About the Author :
Tracey Deakin is synonymous with providing excellence to a global clientele. Born in the United Kingdom and educated at Bethany School in Goudhurst, Kent, his enthusiasm for the aerospace industry led Tracey to his first job in aviation at Invicta International in 1976. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his pilot's license. With a career spanning nearly fifty years, Tracey's work with over 188 global airlines, 95% of aircraft and engine manufacturers, and private flight departments has equipped him with the experience to facilitate interactions in domestic, European, and international air travel. In 1987, Tracey arrived in the United States during the time when the air charter and corporate aircraft business began to grow and flourish. He continues to work with his trademark care and optimism today--rocket fuel is life's passion. Dawn C. Crouch first crossed paths with Tracey Deakin after learning of Le Bas International's heroic efforts to evacuate refugees after Hurricane Katrina. She asked Mr. Deakin to write a testimonial for her first novel, "Against The Wind," based on her family's experience in the storm. Mr. Deakin graciously agreed and the two formed a friendship that produced "Tailor Made to Fly: Life Lessons in Custom Charter Aviation."A native of New Orleans, Mrs. Crouch is a former dancer with Houston Ballet. She writes fiction as well as the popular Garage Ballet series, instructional booklets peppered with stories from her life as both dancer and teacher.
