This is my story about how I reached a point of being sick and tired after thirty-plus years of avoiding, running, and hiding from the sexual abuse I experienced as an eleven-year-old boy. I said to myself over and over for years that it was too hurtful and painful to face head on and heal.
Then, one day, after being exasperated with a completely broken heart and a soul in despair, I heard a still, small voice deep within, calling out to me. That voice called my heart and soul to:
- Confront the darkness.
- Spiritually awaken.
- Heal to the best version of myself.
- Dream and create from purity.
Here is what I know to be true: I hope that by telling my story in an authentic way, it will ignite a passion within you and serve as a catalyst to evoke your own healing process. It is my soul's longing that this inspires and offers hope for healing your heart and soul.
