About the Book

A brave and captivating book that takes you into the heart where Love is stronger than death. This is the amazing true story of how one young woman, survived the sudden and unexpected deaths of 3 partners, all vibrant men in their 40s. How she picked herself off the floor and asked for help. And how she gazed into the eyes of her soul and questioned why she was surrounded by so much death. For 5 long years, the author Dee Delaney struggles to make sense of her life as she pushes, screams and battles with the dark shadows of grief that weave their way into the fabric of her very being, until one day on March 21st, 2015, she stops everything and surrenders. In this honest, raw and sometimes humorous account, Dee explains how she finds the way back to her true self, through the richness of Eastern spirituality, and the wisdom of Western psychotherapy. As her story unfolds, Dee realises this suffering didn't happen to her, it happened for her, and her 'ordinary' life is transformed forever. Dee leaves her comfortable middle class life in England and starts a new life for herself and her little boy, in Goa India, where she discovers that her story is really only just beginning........ The Truth - My Journey to the Other Side is part of an exciting trilogy of inspirational books called The Truth is Within. Books 2 & 3 will be released later this year.

Review :
Dee Delaney's, 'The Truth', is utterly captivating. A story of Grief, Heartbreak, Love and Soul Awakening. Beautifully written with the soul shattering truth of her journey; brave-heartedly interwoven amidst the pages. The essence of this story is all our story. Alex at WildGinger - Cancer survivor, actress and yoga teacher. "We all need to stand in our truth and this amazing piece of work opens the doors. Like the picture on the front cover, a bridge between you and the universe, the gateways to the soul. Jennifer at Sparkle and Divine - Goddess of the soul oracle reader Dee Delaney has written a bold, gutsy and heartfelt book. It begins with the tragedy of the unexpected death of a much loved husband and charts her journey from a place of tremendous pain and distress to one of reconciliation and peace within herself. It is literally a journey encompassing different countries, metaphysical, spiritiual and psychotherapy dimensions. Along the way Dee struggles to makes sense of her life and the autobiographical narrative makes for interesting reading. There is an honest and unflinching look at her past and and how it shaped and impacted upon her life. Along the way Dee melds and expands her beliefs in spirituality, complementary therapies and psychotherapy. It is no mean feat that Dee not only makes accessible the basic concepts of psychodynamic and attachment psychotherapy but also weaves it so well within the narrative. It is the story of one woman whose courage to rise above her tragedy and to seek understanding and comfort from the richness of Eastern sprituality yet retain and balance it with the Western concepts of modern day psychology. It is a journey without end as Dee shows without proselytising that with an open heart and mind life can be made infinitely richer and creative. Marla Prudom - Psychotherapist
